After being overtly smart in the day and making my baby sleep during the day, here I was at 11pm! With a kid as fresh as a flower is at the break of dawn!

The usual suspects of sleeping routine had been exhausted :the playlists of stories and songs, the darkened room, the pillows re arranged 100 times, more songs. more stories etc etc.

As I begged of her once more to sleep off, in the semi dark room, I saw her thinking! Clearly she bothered. So to start a dialogue over sharing thoughts and feelings, I asked her if something was bothering her (Covid times.. it's natural).

She smiled her cute smile and nodded. Sagely she said 5 things.

No 1. She was missing her Arshima(fair, they haven't met for over a month).

No 2. Mosquitoes were botting(biting in her vocab.) her.

No 4. She loved Winnie the Pooh(yay, just like me, I adore Pooh forever and more)!

No 5. She loved me, her mamma! (Last but not least, mind you).Thinking she forgot counting I asked her what about 3? Did she forget 3?

She shook her head vehemently and thought for a long while( at the time ever second was feeling veeeryyyyy longgggg) and stated. Noooo no 3 is I am hungry and that when I slapped my head in my mind !There it was: the reason for sleeplessness.

Midnight snacking led to midnight Musings for this Tot! Aha!
