AMAZING USE OF MASKS

So people who know me closely, know that for the last few months(well actually nearly half a year or more!) haven't stepped out much. I am one of the unfortunate few who really listen to public service ads that say "Step Out Only When Needed". Of course I take it more than seriously and step out less than needed. But a dressing down from 3 close friends made me step out a bit more. And that's when I saw what all I was missing out. And was I missing a lot!

So for me, as I step out in my safety gear(yeah I do feel like a character from those sci fi films), I was amazed at the progress of the world and the lateral thinking of the people around. Educated ones that too.

The anecdotes are many and making solo posts about them would be like Reels of Instagram. So let me club them here, like a status update of FB.

So here goes.

1. SUNSHADES : Persons use them outside and as soon as they enter banks(which is teeming with their like minded humans), they remove it. Like we would with sunshades.

2. ENTRY PASSES: To parks. Put them on, get registered as a mask user, enter park remove it.

3. CHIN PADS : Move around with masks, around chins. Everyone feels you use one, but actually it is to protect the chin. Easier to move around with.

4. EARRING: Hang it on your ear ... looks creative, and beautiful. Like a Looooonng Dangler. And that too one ear!

5. UPPER LIP COVERS : Inventive. After all, with parlors out of bounds, very creative and yet handy. Nose is bare. We can breathe... and breathe out infection to others.

6. MOUTH COVERS : Enough to hide your utterings and mutterings, but free enough to exhale and inhale the now fresher air.

And Here I thank all these people, at leas they spend money and buy variously expensive masks and put them to creative use. At least they use them.

Then they are the others. The SuperHumans. Who know Corona wont touch them so why bother. And here I am, trying to struggle to make sure that my nose is as covered as my life has been since March!
