Your questions sparkle

They astound, confound, stumble me

Sometimes they confuse and baffle me

Yet I soldier on

I cannot let the surprise show

I cannot not answer any

A questioning mind is a boon

I am blessed, I know.

Just unsure.

Of the answers I give.

Are they right?

I am just a human learning by trial and error

For you I am your answer book, like for me Mom was

I don't know how she did it

But she did it so well

She was a pro. Still is.

I, on the other, am grappling for answers I give

Right or Wrong, I don't know

Do I quell your queries, you tell me.

I just try.

But the look in your eyes, make me afraid

What if my answer is not right!

What if the light you look for in me is not correct

Will my thoughts and views and vision

Blindside you? Or lead you to happiness.

I guess we will learn by trial and error.

While I soldier on with the answers,

Your questions do amaze me!
